Routing Guide
BGP Policies BGP
Controls and behaviors supported on BGP sessions with TGlobal Networks.
Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD)
Customers with point-to-point BGP sessions may request BFD. It is not enabled by default and can be activated through a technical support ticket.
Multi-Exit Discriminator (MED)
The network accepts MED on customer BGP sessions, allowing customers to signal path preference when multiple interconnection points are available.
Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI)
Prefixes classified as RPKI Invalid are rejected. Prefixes with Unknown status are accepted normally.
Default route announcement policy. The policy applies equally to IPv4 and IPv6. BGP Communities provide specific controls for route announcements, AS-path prepending, no-export, local preference, blackholing and special routing policies.
